MOZA Racing has officially revealed its first racing hardware developed for PlayStation®5, bringing its Direct Drive ecosystem to PlayStation racers for the first time.
Unveiled at Tokyo Game Show 2026, the new range represents a major expansion for MOZA and introduces three Direct Drive products developed under the official PlayStation licensing programme.
Three New MOZA PS5 Racing Products
MOZA has announced three products as part of its first PlayStation 5 lineup:
MOZA R5S Pro Racing
Designed as the accessible entry point into the new range, the R5S Pro combines a Direct Drive wheel base, steering wheel and pedals into a complete racing package.
MOZA R16S Ultra Racing
A higher-performance option aimed at more experienced sim racers, built around the more powerful R16S Direct Drive platform.
MOZA R16S Ultra Direct Drive Wheel Base
A standalone wheel base for racers who want greater flexibility when creating their own MOZA setup.
Native Gran Turismo 7 Support
One of the biggest announcements is native Gran Turismo 7 support.
MOZA is working with Polyphony Digital, the developer behind Gran Turismo, to develop racing hardware designed to integrate directly with GT7 on PlayStation 5. MOZA also became an official peripheral partner of the Gran Turismo World Series earlier in 2026.
For PlayStation racers, this brings another established Direct Drive hardware ecosystem into the console sim-racing market.
What Does This Mean for UK Sim Racers?
Until now, MOZA's racing ecosystem has primarily focused on PC, alongside selected Xbox-compatible hardware.
The introduction of officially licensed PlayStation hardware means PS5 racers are set to gain access to MOZA's Direct Drive technology without relying on unofficial adapters or compatibility solutions.
It could also make it easier for racers to build more complete setups around the wider MOZA ecosystem as the new PlayStation range develops.
When Can You Buy MOZA for PS5?
There's an important detail: MOZA has not yet announced final UK pricing, availability or an official launch date.
The R5S Pro, R16S Ultra Racing Simulator and R16S Direct Drive Wheel Base are being developed under the official PlayStation licensing programme, with PS5 operation subject to Sony Interactive Entertainment's final product approval.
So while the hardware has now been publicly revealed, it should not yet be treated as a general UK retail release.
